Ryan Garcia drops and dominates Emmanuel Tagoe on return and now Oscar Del La Hoya wants to make ‘biggest fight of the decade’ with Gervonta Davis
Ryan Garcia successfully re-entered the round with a unanimous decisive victory over Emanuel Togo.Garcia 119-110, 119-110, 118-109 abandoned his opponent to make the decision and now dominate 32-2, giving Ghana only the second defeat of his career, but it was his third battle outside Ghana.
In front of nearly 15,000 people, Garcia did not show the ring rust after 15 months and he was on his way to victory. The pattern of the fight was quickly established as the 23-year-old was tempted to put on a show and send his opponent out, but Tago was stubborn and found ways to hang on.
Garcia thrashed Togo in the second round. He chased Ghania around the ring after a fierce commotion, and after leaving the clich, he was knocked to the ground with his right hand. Light expectation was also close to removing Togo in the 10th round, but it should not be for Garcia on his return.
Speaking after the fight, Garcia objected to being called by any name.
“In the past, I always got those calls,” Garcia said.
“But I’m mature and I’ll let my team handle it. When it works, it works. But for now, I trust my team, we will move forward.

“I do not mind Ryan having a three-fight deal with him to do the fighting,” de la Hoya said.
“Tank, give me a call! If you’re free, catch me anytime you are free.”
De La Hoya added, “I respect Mayweather.
Great career with Mayweather, he promoted you amazingly, but if you’re free, I’m here. We do battle with Ryan Garcia.
“We’ve been making a lot of money for him. I’m been in this business for 22 years, so I’m promoted some of the biggest fighters, including Mayweather, so I’ll get him some money.”
